    GD&T‑Driven CNC Production Machinist (Mastercam)

    Salary: Based on experience | Employment: Fulltime

    The Challenge

    At Anderson Express—Tier 1 to Automotive and Military customers and a trusted partner to Ford Motor Company and Laser Access—you’ll help transform complex, custom designs into production‑ready parts. Our compact, collaborative team thrives on speed, precision, and continuous improvement.

    Your 30‑60‑90

    • First 30 days: Learn our standards, verify parts with hand metrology, and master safe loading/unloading and accurate time logging.
    • 60 days: Independently execute changeovers, touch off tools, and adjust offsets; identify and replace worn tooling.
    • 90 days and beyond: Train operators, reduce downtime, collaborate tightly with assembly personnel, and drive throughput without sacrificing quality.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform CNC machine setups and rapid job changeovers.
    • Load programs and validate correctness (G-code/M-code).
    • Ensure quality via tool offsets, gauging, and print/GD&T interpretation.
    • Use calipers, micrometers, pin/thread gauges, ring gauges, refractometer, and scales to qualify parts.
    • Sort conforming/nonconforming parts; maintain accurate job time entries.
    • Stand for extended periods and assist with additional tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • 2–3 years of CNC operator experience (preferred).
    • High School Diploma or GED.
    • Shop‑floor readiness; strong math/analytical skills.
    • Effective written and verbal communication; positive, team‑first attitude.

    Tools & Platforms

    • CNC Mill (3-4 axis VMC) (Haas, Doosan, Brother, Hurco, Dmg Mori Seiki)
    • CAM Software (Mastercam)

    Additional Requirements

    • Must be eligible to work on programs subject to ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations). Therefore, candidates must be a U.S. Citizen or a U.S. Permanent Resident ('Green Card')
