Role: GCP Python Consultant
Location – Jersey City, NJ or Delaware
Duration: 8+ Months

Role summary: Design and deliver secure, scalable networking for onboarded applications, including segmentation and hybrid connectivity patterns.

Key responsibilities:

Build/operate VPC/Shared VPC, subnets, routes, firewall policies, DNS patterns
Define ingress/egress architecture, NAT, load balancing patterns, private access
Support hybrid connectivity concepts (VPN/Interconnect), routing, and troubleshooting
Deliver network changes safely via Terraform modules and staged rollouts

Mandatory skills/experience:

GCP networking fundamentals + secure segmentation/egress control patterns
Terraform-based network provisioning; change safety/blast-radius management
Troubleshooting using logs/flow data and systematic triage
Nice-to-have: Centralized firewall governance; service perimeter concepts; WAF patterns
Success measures: High connectivity reliability, low security exceptions, quick incident resolution.
