Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to architect and deliver Google Cloud Platform (GCP) workloads. This role is essential for building and maintaining robust cloud infrastructure and ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, Cloud Run, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, Spanner, BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc, Composer, and Pub/Sub.
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code and CI/CD using Terraform and Cloud Build.
• Strong skills in Python, Docker, and CloudOps for Google Cloud.
• Experience with Kubernetes fundamentals, VPC, subnets, Cloud NAT, Load Balancing, and Private Service Connect.
• Prior work experience at client or in client's industry.

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Familiarity with Git (GitHub/GitLab) and Helm.
• Experience with identity and security controls such as IAM, service accounts, Secrets Manager, KMS, and org policies.
• Knowledge of SRE practices and observability tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Error Reporting, SLIs/SLOs, alerting, and runbooks.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver GCP workloads using various GCP services.
• Build infrastructure as code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement identity and security controls.
• Design scalable networking solutions.
• Establish observability and SRE practices.
• Develop data platforms and pipelines.
• Automate operations to drive reliability, performance, and cost optimization.
• Lead incident response and postmortems, mentor engineers, and document standards.
