GCP Architect – Resident

Job Description: Resident Architect – Google Cloud
Qualifications
•    Must be a United States citizen.
•    Minimum of 8 years of experience advising enterprise or government customers in one or more of the following areas:
o    Cloud solution architecture
o    Technical project management
o    Stakeholder management
o    Professional services
o    Technical consulting
•    Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience with object-oriented programming languages such as:
o    C++
o    Python
•    Experience working as a hands-on keyboard engineer during project delivery.
•    Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance.
•    Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, as needed.
•    Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
•    Technical familiarity with Google Cloud Platform services, including:
o    Compute
o    Storage
o    Cloud SQL
o    Cloud networking
o    Kubernetes
•    Experience supporting large-scale:
o    Deployments
o    Migrations
o    Cloud transformations
Job Responsibilities
•    Provide embedded architectural expertise and hands-on technical leadership within the client’s technical team.
•    Support project success from the initial concept through completion.
•    Collaborate with client engineers to evaluate product and technical trade-offs.
•    Recommend:
o    Integration strategies
o    Enterprise architectures
o    Application infrastructure solutions
•    Engage cross-functional internal partners and Google Cloud engineering resources.
•    Identify and proactively manage:
o    Project risks
o    Technical issues
o    Project schedules
•    Perform technical project-management responsibilities.
•    Manage key stakeholders and executive stakeholders throughout project delivery.
