Job Description

Product Repair Technician

Must be U.S. Citizen for export purposes.

Pay rate: $34.00 per hour

Assembles, disassembles and/or modifies systems by changing, removing, replacing or upgrading aerospace vehicle components. General knowledge of structural repair principles (e.g., fatigue and corrosion, stress analysis, statics, materials strength, material characteristics, repair techniques). Knowledge of structural repair, overhaul, nondestructive inspection, corrosion control, and composites. Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results). Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.

This job requires working knowledge of technical publications. The incumbent receives technical guidance, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, will occasionally be required to lead teams through more complex aircraft relevant tasks, and may be required to make entries in aircraft logs and records. Must be able to prioritize workload to maintain schedules on assigned projects.

Must Haves:

  • Highschool Diploma
  • P8 experience

Plusses:

  • Military/ commercial experience is a plus
  • 737 experience is a plus
