Gastroenterologist Procedures and Treatments:
- Colonoscopy / colon cancer screening
- Endoscopic ultrasound (EUS) Preferred
- Endoscopic mucosal resection of small tumors
- Esophageal dilation of strictures
- Esophageal pH exam
- Flexible sigmoidoscopy
- H. Pylori Breath Test
- Precancerous lesions of the GI tract
- Small Bowel Capsule Endoscopy
- Upper Endoscopy (EGD, Gastroscopy)
Gastroenterologist Qualifications:
- Must have successfully completed a residency or fellowship commensurate with area of specialty.
- Obtain and maintain an unrestricted Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) registration;
- Be board certified or eligible in the appropriate specialty
- MD or DO required
