Primos Garage Doors is a family-owned company with four Colorado locations and a LOT of work. Our owners work inside the company every day and are involved in daily operations. This isn’t a company where ownership sits somewhere else while everyone else figures it out. They work right alongside of us.
Our company is built around four core values, and they’re pretty simple: Faith. Family. Fitness. Finance. That’s what we build around, in that order.
We’re looking for experienced Residential and Commercial Garage Door Technicians who can run a route, manage themselves, and understand that being a good technician is about more than knowing how to fix a door.
Our technicians use software throughout the day. You will check in and out of every job, document your work, take required pictures and videos, communicate with the office, keep your truck and jobs organized, and be capable of running five or more calls a day when the schedule requires it.
We don’t cut corners and we don’t do half-assed work. Period. We understand that everything one person does affects the next person in line. If you don’t document something, somebody else has to hunt for it. If you leave a job half done, somebody else has to clean it up. If you don’t communicate, the office, the next technician, and ultimately the customer feel it. Everybody’s job matters here.
We also don’t bullshit or sugarcoat things. But don’t get us wrong—we joke, we have fun, we stress together, play together, work together, and then we go home to our families. We’re a small, tight-knit team, and honestly, we just want to roll with our days, get the work done, make money, and not make each other’s jobs harder than they need to be.
Sometimes the day doesn’t end exactly when the clock says it does. A call may come in at the end of the shift and need to be handled. We stay until the work is done. We stay together, finish what needs to be finished, and then we go home.
If you struggle to show up, can’t stay organized, hate documentation, cut corners, need someone constantly following behind you, or aren’t prepared to work hard, please don’t waste your time or ours.
We have high standards because we want high-standard technicians. We’re all here for the same reasons to make a good living, grow, take care of our families, and build something we can be proud of.

RESPONSIBILITIES — PRETTY SIMPLE.
Show up. On time, ready to work.
Make money. We have the work. Run your calls and get it done.
Have a good attitude. Nobody wants to work all day with someone miserable.
Know what you’re doing. We’re hiring experienced technicians, not someone we have to babysit.
Run your route. Be capable of handling 5+ jobs a day when needed.
Use the software. Check in, check out, document your jobs, and keep everything updated.
Take your pictures and videos. Every job. No excuses.
Communicate. With the office, customers, and the rest of the team.
Stay organized. Your truck, paperwork, parts, tools, and jobs.
Don’t cut corners. No half-assed work. Do it right the first time.
Finish the day. If a late call comes in, we finish the work and then we go home.
Be a team player. What you do affects the person behind you.
Take pride in your work. Your name and ours are attached to every job.
SHOW UP. WORK HARD. MAKE MONEY. HAVE A GOOD ATTITUDE. KNOW YOUR SHIT. GO HOME. REPEAT.
QUALIFICATIONS WE’RE KEEPING THIS REAL
Know garage doors. Like, actually know them. YouTube University doesn’t count.
Show up to work. On time. Regularly. Wild requirement, we know.
Have a valid driver’s license and preferably no law enforcement actively looking for you.
Have reliable transportation. “My ride fell through” cannot be your morning routine.
Keep the baby-mama/baby-daddy drama at home. We’ve all got lives. We just can’t run the schedule around yours.
Know how to use a phone/tablet. Check in. Check out. Pictures. Videos. Notes. It’s 2026—you’ve got this.
Be organized. If you lose your tools, paperwork, phone, and yourself before noon, this probably isn’t the place.
Work without a babysitter. We hired a technician, not another child.
Have a sense of humor. You’re going to need one around here.
Don’t be an asshole. Customers and coworkers included.
Know how to communicate. Disappearing for three hours while dispatch wonders whether you joined the circus is frowned upon.
Do the job RIGHT. No shortcuts. No half-ass work. No “good enough from my house.”
Be ready to WORK. We have the calls. We have the customers. We need someone who can handle them.
Leave the excuses at home and bring your work ethic.
Basically: Know your shit. Stay out of jail. Keep your drama manageable. Show up. Work hard. Laugh a little. Make money. Go home. Repeat.
