    We are hiring a motivated Garage Door Service & Sales Technician to join our growing field team throughout the Bay Area.

    This is a hands-on service role that combines mechanical troubleshooting, customer service, and consultative sales. You will meet with customers in their homes, diagnose garage door issues, explain repair and upgrade options, provide quotes, complete approved work, and help customers choose the best solution for their needs.

    We are looking for someone who is technically capable, confident with customers, and motivated by performance.

    What You'll Do

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot garage door issues
    • Perform on-site repairs, maintenance, and approved installation-related work
    • Assess customer needs and provide clear, accurate quotes
    • Present repair, service, and upgrade options
    • Explain the value of recommended solutions
    • Answer customer questions and handle common objections
    • Confidently ask for the business and close approved work
    • Complete jobs safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
    • Maintain a clean and organized worksite, tools, inventory, and vehicle
    • Document job details, photos, notes, invoices, and status updates
    • Coordinate with the office team regarding scheduling, parts, and customer needs
    • Travel throughout the Bay Area between customer appointments

    What We're Looking For

    • Confident discussing pricing and asking for the business
    • Reliable, punctual, organized, and accountable
    • Coachable and receptive to feedback
    • Comfortable working independently in the field
    • Comfortable using smartphones, mobile apps, and field-service software
    • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
    • Physically able to work with tools, ladders, lifting, bending, standing, and garage environments

    Prior experience in garage doors, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, construction, automotive, mechanical service, home services, or another field-service environment is preferred.

    Strong candidates with mechanical aptitude, customer-facing confidence, sales potential, and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

    Schedule

    • Full-time, in-person field position
    • Availability and flexibility within a Sunday-Friday operating schedule
    • Travel throughout the Bay Area
    • Daily schedules may vary depending on customer appointments and job flow
    • Must be comfortable working independently while staying accountable to dispatch and field management
