Job Overview – Seasonal Retail Associate
This is a temporary, part-time position to support store operations during the busy football season by providing excellent customer service and assisting in a variety of areas throughout the store. Associates must be flexible and willing to work in different departments based on daily business needs.
What You’ll Do:
- Be available to work every home football weekend Thursday through Sunday
- Provide friendly, courteous, and efficient customer service.
- Operate a cash register accurately and handle transactions in accordance with store policies.
- Assist customers on the sales floor by answering questions, locating merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized shopping environment.
- Support back-room operations, including receiving, stocking, organizing, and replenishing merchandise.
- Restock sales floor merchandise as need to maintain product availability and presentation standards.
- Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Work collaboratively with managers and fellow associates to ensure smooth store operations.
- Perform additional duties and assist in other departments as assigned to support business needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Comfortable moving around the store for your entire shift
- Able to stand for long periods
- Frequent lifting of 25–50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation
- Occasional reaching, bending, stooping, and use of ladders
What You Bring:
- Must be 18 years or older
- Positive, energetic attitude with excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service mindset and willingness to assist others
- Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills
- Flexible availability, especially during game weekends
- Must be able to pass a background check
