Job Responsibilities:

Responsible to lead and promote a customer-friendly store atmosphere by providing exceptional customer assistance. Also responsible for buying and processing toys, housewares, jewelry, puzzles, and board games.

 

Job Requirements:

•    Good communication and customer service skills with motivation to serve the public.

•    Ability to adapt to a flexible working schedule to include early mornings, evenings, mid-shifts and weekends

•    Professional telephone skills.

•    Ability to multi-task.

•    General knowledge of products sold at Bookmans

•    Interest and/or knowledge of toys, housewares, collectibles, and boardgames.

•    Understanding of pricing strategies and ability to use reference materials for making competitive offers and pricing.

•    Knowledge of store sections and layout, trade procedures, and customer service expectations.

•    Ability to work independently with guidance and direction from Gallery Department Supervisor and Management

•    Must be able to conduct oneself in a civil, professional and respectful manner at work.

 

 

This is a full-time position scheduled at a minimum of thirty (30) hours per week.
