About the Role
The Backup Shuttle Driver supports the Augusta Distribution Team by providing reliable, safe transportation of fresh flowers and related products between distribution locations as needed. This position helps ensure products arrive safely and on time while maintaining high standards for vehicle safety, regulatory compliance, and customer service.
What You'll Do
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
This role requires the ability to work in a warehouse and refrigerated cooler environment, including temperatures of approximately 34°F. The position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing in and out of a truck, and loading and unloading products.
The ability to regularly lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds is required, with or without reasonable accommodation.

This is an as-needed backup position and benefits are not available for this position.
Other Information
What You'll Bring
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
At least 2 years professional experience operating a 26-foot straight truck or larger is required.
Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid DOT Medical Card.
Must be at least 21 years of age.
Ability to safely lift and move products weighing up to 60 pounds.
Experience with refrigerated vehicles and/or warehouse environments preferred.
Ability to safely operate pallet jacks and other equipment used for loading and unloading products.
Comfortable using maps and GPS for route planning and navigation.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Excellent time management, dependability, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
Must successfully complete required pre-employment screenings.
