Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist children's librarian in preparing and presenting 1-2 weekly programs:
Preschool Storytime (including a craft) and After-School Artists for elementary schoolers.
Assist in creating displays and preparing materials for other youth programs.
Brainstorm and/or research possible weekly process-based art activities for preschoolers and elementary schoolers.
Prepare materials for youth programming and displays.
Assist in setting up the room before programs, moving tables, chairs, and supplies.
Greet program attendees.
Assist and encourage children during programs.
Help to clean up materials after programs
