Job Description
Purpose or Role of the Position within the Organization Basic Function and Scope of Responsibilities: The Roosevelt School is seeking a dedicated and motivated LIU student to serve as a Model United Nations Assistant at the Post Campus. The Model UN Assistant will support the Model United Nations program in its student engagement, recruitment, programming, training, travel, and administrative activities. Working closely with the Model UN Faculty Advisor and the Roosevelt School Dean, the Model UN Assistant will serve as an important point of support for LIU Model UN students and contribute to the growth and visibility of the program across the University. This position provides an opportunity for a student to develop valuable skills in research, communication, event planning, student engagement, organizational management, and international affairs while gaining practical experience supporting one of LIU's student leadership and experiential learning programs.

Evaluation Procedures and Schedules:
The Model United Nations Assistant will be evaluated throughout the academic year to ensure strong performance, professional growth, and alignment with the goals of the LIU Model UN program and the Roosevelt School. Students will be assessed in the following areas:
The evaluation process is developmental and designed to help the student build transferable skills in leadership, communication, organization, research, event management, and professional engagement.
