Job Summary

The Financial Aid Work Study Student will facilitate the financial aid process as needed (assist at the One Stop Shop customer service desk, walk-Ins, phones, application processes, events as needed)

Responsibilities

  • Is responsible to understand, support, and carry out the college¿s mission, vision, and values and comply with mandates and regulations of government and accrediting bodies.

  • Assist at the One Stop Shop customer service counter (McCorkle Building-Floyd Campus)

  • Assist students and visitors with financial aid processes as needed (FAFSAs, Verifications, Scholarship applications, logging into Charger Portal, email, schedule bill, and other basic financial aid processes)

  • Posts campus event flyers and advertisements

  • Assists with document management including shredding, scanning, copying, and filing

  • Participates in mandatory trainings

  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

Must be a current student

  • Education ¿ High school diploma, current college student

  • Experience ¿ None, training provided

Proposed Salary

$12.00 per hour
