Join Our Team as a Furniture Logistics Crew Member
Help customers relocate with confidence by handling furniture, appliances, boxes, and other residential and commercial items from start to finish. This role blends physical work, teamwork, and customer care.
Core Duties
- Load and unload goods efficiently and safely
- Lift, carry, and position oversized or heavy items with proper technique
- Wrap and pad furniture to prevent damage in transit
- Use hand trucks, furniture dollies, moving straps, ramps, and related equipment
- Support both residential and commercial moving projects
- Protect property — floors, walls, doors, and fixtures — at every location
- Disassemble and reassemble furniture as needed
- Secure cargo for transportation to minimize shifting
- Maintain a clean, orderly truck and work site
- Interact professionally with customers and coworkers
- Adhere to all safety standards and correct lifting procedures
- Work overtime when needed to complete scheduled jobs
Qualifications
- Capability to lift and carry heavy items for extended periods
- Ability to perform physical labor throughout the shift
- Reliable, consistent attendance
- Team-oriented approach
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Prior moving, warehouse, delivery, or general labor experience is a plus (not required)
