What You’ll Do
- Day-to-day operations of our Furniture & Home Décor department
- Evaluate and select furniture and décor brought in by customers
- Research and price merchandise based on brand, condition, style, and resale value
- Create beautiful, inviting displays that make customers want to shop
- Keep merchandise fresh, organized, and moving
- Train, support, and motivate department team members
- Build positive relationships with customers and consignors
- Help customers find pieces they love
- Serve as a keyholder and assist with opening and closing the store
- Handle customer questions and everyday department needs
- Work closely with management to meet department goals and maintain our high standards
- Jump in where needed, including assisting customers and operating the register
- Have professional experience in furniture, decorating, home staging, interior design, or home furnishings
- Have leadership, supervisory, or keyholder experience
- Naturally notice style, quality, value, and presentation
- Love creating beautiful spaces
- Enjoy leading and encouraging others
- Are warm, personable, confident, and comfortable working with customers
- Are organized and pay attention to the little things
- Can make decisions and solve problems in a busy retail environment
- Bring a positive, drama-free attitude to work
