We are looking for a detail-oriented, service-oriented individual to fill our Full-Time Funding Processor / Internal Control Specialist position in Leavenworth.     Our Funding Processor / Internal Control Specialist processes loan applications and funds documents within the Lending Department. Provides information and assistance to FSR's, dealerships, retail establishments, third-party vendors, and members as required. As an Internal Control Specialist, this employee ensures proper procedures are followed on all loans, such as verifying that loan conditions are met, tracking and reporting audit results, and preparing and auditing loan documents. Prepare, audit, and fund loan documents within the Indirect and Direct Lending Departments, including communicating with auto dealers, third-party vendors, and others to obtain the information needed to complete and fund auto loan approvals and other loan types as appropriate. Create new loan files and verify loan conditions are met. Ensure the correct title and insurance documents and lien filings are in the loan file, then scan and upload all files. Disburse funds according to the loan conditions and type. Make and return phone calls when needed. Answer questions, resolve disputes, and coordinate loan funding. Follow up on unfunded loans by contacting the dealer or FSR's to resolve the issues. Prepare and mail information packets and letters on all funded loans.

     

    Work Schedule

    • Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

     

    Other Duties Include:

    • Providing prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly service to all
    • Requires problem-solving
    • Adhering to all regulations and compliance policies
    • Preparing required daily, weekly, and monthly reports as well as audit reports for the department
    • Maintaining a dependable record of attendance and timeliness; meeting deadlines

     

    Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

    • Minimum three to five years of related experience (funding, lending, etc.)
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Intermediate computer skills including: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the ability to learn and navigate multiple technology platforms while interacting with others
