POSITION TITLE: Fund Regulatory Reporting Specialist

- POSITION SPECIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in business or related discipline, or equivalent business experience
- 3 years of business experience required
- Experience working in accounting, mutual fund industry, or legal/compliance is preferred
As a Fund Regulatory Reporting Specialist within the Compliance Department, you will administer and perform administrative functions for regulatory reporting requirements.
MAJOR DUTIES:
- Administer the process to create and file monthly, quarterly and annual regulatory reports as required; responsible for complete and timely filing of a sub-set of Federated Hermes regulatory filings
- Contribute to regulatory filing calendar and ensure changes in Federated Hermes products are reflected in regulatory filing process
- Approve filings as required
- Participate in filing workflows in the filing vendor application
- Develop a substantive understanding of the information presented in the filings
- Develop an understanding of quality control monitoring rules
- Contribute to resolving substantive exceptions to those quality control monitoring rules; escalate substantive exceptions to the Manager Fund Regulatory Reporting as necessary
- Assist in the creation and distribution of status reporting to executive and senior management and key stakeholders with respect to regulatory filings
- Assist in the creation, implementation and maintenance of policies and procedures designed to ensure accurate and complete regulatory filings
- Contribute as a point of contact for the filing vendor and internal sources related to the filings
- Maintain an audit trail supporting evidence of filings and related data
- Research and develop an understanding of regulatory changes impacting reporting requirements
HOURS/LOCATION:
- 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. (overtime as required)
- Location: Warrendale, PA 15068 (hybrid in-office work schedule)
