Fund Controller
Full-Time | Hybrid
Location: Downtown Boston, MA
Salary Range: $150,000 - $170,000
Position Overview
CFS has partnered with an investment management firm in seeking an experienced Fund Controller to join their finance and operations team. This individual will play a critical role in overseeing fund accounting, operational processes, financial reporting, and third-party service provider relationships across a diverse portfolio of investment vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee fund accounting, NAV reporting, financial statements, and audit coordination.
- Manage relationships with fund administrators, auditors, banks, and other service providers.
- Support valuation processes and assist with regulatory reporting requirements.
- Partner with investment, operations, and investor relations teams on ongoing fund activities.
- Assist with budgeting, cash management, and treasury-related functions.
- Support new fund launches and operational improvement initiatives.
- Ensure investor reporting and other key deliverables are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
- 8+ years of experience in fund accounting, fund administration, asset management, or public accounting.
- Strong understanding of partnership accounting and investment fund structures.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication, organization, and project management skills.
- Experience working with third-party administrators and external service providers.
