Fund Controller | Boston
A leading global investment management firm is seeking an experienced Fund Controller to join its growing finance and fund operations team. This is a high-visibility opportunity to take ownership of complex fund accounting and reporting activities while partnering closely with investment, operations, tax, audit, and other internal teams.
Compensation: $145,000-165,000 on a base + bonus
Schedule: Onsite 4 days/week
Responsibilities:
Oversee fund accounting, NAV, financial reporting, and audits
Manage capital calls, distributions, cash, and fund expenses
Review complex investment transactions and partnership accounting
Partner with internal teams, administrators, and auditors
Support new fund launches and operational initiatives
Requirements:
8+ years of relevant fund accounting and public accounting experience
CPA required
3+ years of private equity, private credit, or hedge fund experience
Strong partnership accounting and U.S. GAAP knowledge
Experience with complex fund structures, waterfalls, carried interest, and capital activity
Strong Excel skills
