Fund Accountant Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day accounting and financial reporting for private equity investment funds.
- Assist with financial statements, reconciliations, and other core accounting activities.
- Partner with experienced accounting and investment professionals across the organization.
- Participate in process improvements, systems enhancements, and special projects.
- Take on increasing responsibilities as you develop your expertise and advance within the firm.
Fund Accountant Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; Accounting degree preferred.
- Background in accounting, financial services, investment management, or a related field.
- Strong accounting fundamentals, analytical skills, and Excel proficiency.
- Detail-oriented, motivated professional who enjoys problem-solving and taking ownership of their work.
- Eagerness to learn, grow professionally, and build a long-term career in investment accounting.
- CPA progress or interest in pursuing certification is a plus
