Pay Range: $22 to $24/hr (W2)

Job Description

We are seeking a Fund Accountant to join our team. The role provides specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios and executes key aspects of daily net asset value processes, including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, special handling, and break identification and resolution. The Fund Accountant ensures daily deliverables are timely and accurate while leveraging fund accounting technology and collaborating across internal teams.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries.
• Verify data and validate daily accounting outputs for quality and timeliness.
• Identify, escalate, and resolve problem items and breaks.
• Manage daily volume and production reporting.
• Monitor and assist in resolution of issues; follow up on open inquiries.
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and minimize risk and exposure.
• Support management reporting, including Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, and R&A analysis.
• Contribute to process improvement activities and productivity gains.
• Meet team deadlines and requirements under time and resource constraints.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues and breaks.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with professional demeanor.
• Strong time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team environment, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure.
• Willingness to work U.S. holidays and overtime as necessary.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with fund accounting systems and NAV production workflows.
• Exposure to derivatives and corporate actions processing.
