Broaden Your Reach. Your Way. With Rising Arete.
Now Hiring: Fully Licensed Clinicians
You worked hard to earn your license. Now you should have the freedom to practice in a way that reflects your expertise, your interests, and your life.
At Rising Arete, we believe great clinicians thrive when they have the autonomy to practice authentically, the support to continue growing professionally, and a team that genuinely values their expertise.
The word Arete comes from the Greek concept of reaching the highest quality state or effectiveness possible. That philosophy is at the heart of who we are—not just for our clients, but for our clinicians, too.
We are looking for fully licensed clinicians who want the autonomy of private practice without having to shoulder everything on their own.
This isn't just another group-practice job.
It's an opportunity to grow your practice your way.
Autonomy Without Going It Alone
Perhaps you're looking for more control over your schedule.
Maybe you want a professional environment that feels inspiring rather than institutional.
Or perhaps you're ready to grow your practice while still having the stability and benefits of W-2 employment.
At Rising Arete, you can have autonomy without having to do everything alone.
You bring your clinical expertise and passion.
We provide the environment, resources, support, and infrastructure to help you succeed.
What You Can Expect at Rising Arete
- W-2 employment — enjoy the stability and benefits of being an employee rather than an independent contractor.
- 401(k) benefits to help you plan for your future.
- Medical, dental, and vision insurance to support your overall well-being.
- Flexible scheduling — significant autonomy to create a schedule that works for your life.
- Professional, beautiful office space designed to provide a welcoming experience for both clinicians and clients.
- Dedicated computer and workspace with the tools you need to practice effectively.
- Support in building a sustainable caseload aligned with your clinical interests, availability, and professional goals.
- Clinical and professional growth opportunities as your career evolves.
- A collaborative, supportive culture where experienced clinicians are trusted and respected as professionals.
- Autonomy — we trust experienced clinicians to practice with the independence their expertise deserves.
- A long-term home — many members of our team have been with Rising Arete for years, and we are proud of the relationships we've built.
Practice With More Freedom
We don't believe experienced clinicians need to be micromanaged.
You know your clients. You know your clinical strengths. You know what kind of practice you want to build.
Our role is to provide the infrastructure and support that allows you to focus on what you do best: providing excellent clinical care.
You'll have the freedom to shape your schedule, develop your clinical interests, and build a caseload that makes sense for your professional goals and availability.
Who We're Looking For
We welcome fully licensed clinicians who are:
- Fully licensed and experienced in their field.
- Passionate about providing excellent clinical care.
- Professional, dependable, and compassionate.
- Interested in developing a strong and sustainable caseload.
- Motivated to continue learning and growing.
- Comfortable taking ownership of their professional practice.
- Looking for autonomy within a collaborative environment.
- Interested in building long-term relationships with clients and colleagues.
Why Rising Arete?
We know there are many places experienced clinicians can work.
Some practices offer a traditional group-practice model. Others provide greater independence but leave clinicians responsible for building and managing everything themselves.
We believe you shouldn't have to choose between autonomy and support.
At Rising Arete, we believe clinicians should have the security of W-2 employment and benefits while also having the autonomy to shape their schedules, develop their clinical specialties, build meaningful relationships with clients, and grow professionally.
We want to build something sustainable with you—not simply assign you a predetermined caseload and expect you to fit into a predetermined model.
If you're looking for a place where you can practice with autonomy, grow with support, and become part of a team that values expertise and longevity, we'd love to meet you.
Come grow with Rising Arete.

Seeking creative & collaborative humans with a passion for changing mental health care in fun and meaningful ways.
Don’t meet EVERY requirement?
Studies have shown that women and people of color are less likely to apply to jobs unless they meet every single qualification. Ellie Mental Health is devoted to purposefully building an inclusive and diverse workplace where all of our humans can be their authentic selves! (Authenticity is one of our core values, after all…) If you’re excited about the chance to be a change-maker with us, but your past experience doesn’t perfectly align with every single qualification of the job description, we encourage you to apply anyways. Our mental health jobs need dedicated individuals from every background who are willing to care for others. And who knows, you might just be the perfect candidate for another role!
Employee Experience
We take care of our people. It’s that simple. From investing in their financial future, to providing wages that shatter the ceiling in our industry to reasonable caseload expectations we ensure that our people are happy. Happy employees do better work and provide better client care! No matter what it is that you do in your mental health career at Ellie, our clients depend on us cultivating an environment where our employees can thrive so that they can thrive too!
Y’all, jobs in mental health are tough jobs with a high risk of emotional fatigue and burnout. At Ellie, we use all of our core values of humor, creativity, authenticity, acceptance, determination, and compassion not just out in our communities, but we turn them inwards too! Our employees have clear growth paths for advancing their careers.
We have created a culture that reminds us that our employees are our leaders!
Company Structure
Ellie is a socially responsible for-profit business, which allows us to be flexible and responsive to our community’s needs. Many mental health and wellness-focused companies are non-profits or government agencies, which rely on the general public, grants, or large donors for funding. This model often results in little creativity and lower compensation for employees, promoting a work culture that just makes people feel “blah.”
Feeling blah doesn’t help employees stay motivated, engaged, or even in their jobs for a very long time! So we created a new model: one that puts flexibility, innovative decision-making, creativity, and our people first, while remaining a socially conscious and responsible for-profit business focused on changing how we treat mental health.
In short, we’re just people helping people. Wanna join the herd?
