Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Full time Referrals Coordinator with phlebotomy skills to join our team! We are a busy Internal Medicine practice in the North Dade area with 2 providers, and we work with patients in the office and long term care facility settings.

Responsibilities
Greet and assist patients and visitors in both English and Spanish, ensuring a welcoming environment.


  • Collect patient information, verify insurance details, and perform patient intake procedures accurately.
  • Manage electronic health record (EHR) systems by documenting patient interactions, updating records, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Schedule appointments, follow-up visits, and coordinate referrals while maintaining clear communication with patients and providers.
  • Support clinical staff with basic medical procedures including medication administration, specimen collection, EKGs, and injectable administration.
  • Maintain a clean and organized desk area, manage phone calls, handle patient inquiries, and process administrative paperwork efficiently.
Qualifications


  • Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English is required; excellent communication skills in both languages are essential.
  • Prior experience in a healthcare setting is necessary.
  • Familiarity with EHR systems and medical administrative support functions is helpful for success in this role.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced setting.
  • 3 + years of previous experience in phlebotomy and lab processing is necessary.
  • A strong work ethic and being a team player is a must.

Job Type: fulltime  Monday through Friday 8am-5pm
