Full-Stack Java Developer - Remote, Washington, DC
Duration: 10+ months
Expected Deliverables:
Develop and maintain Java applications, including web and batch applications.
Create and optimize Oracle DB queries using Hibernate in the Spring Framework.
Implement AWS solutions for development, deployment, and DevOps.
Automate testing processes including unit, functional, regression, and performance tests.
Utilize Playwright and Jenkins for CI/CD implementations.
Participate in Agile development processes using Version One.
Required Experience:
7+ years in Java development and 3+ years in full-stack development.
Expertise in Java, J2EE, and Spring Framework.
Proficiency in RESTful API development.
Experience with web technologies: Struts, JSP, HTML, jQuery, CSS, JSON.
Knowledge of Kubernetes, micro-services, and Kafka.
Advanced skills in AWS: EC2, ECS, SQS, ElastiCache, DynamoDB.
Preferred Skills:
Building high-performance RESTful APIs.
Proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and advanced web development.
Experience with containerized micro-services and event-driven applications.
Familiarity with Git and version control best practices.
Knowledge of AI tooling, such as GitHub Copilot.
