Job Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging exams
- Operate radiologic equipment and maintain imaging standards
- Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records
- Follow all radiation safety protocols and regulatory guidelines
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient care
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment
Education and Certification Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
- Active Arizona state radiologic technologist license (or ability to obtain)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Prior clinical experience preferred
