Connected Health Care is partnering with a healthcare facility in Rancho Mirage, CA to hire an experienced Full Time Ultrasound Tech. Job Description
The Ultrasound Tech will perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams while providing excellent patient care.
Responsibilities include:
Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
Operate ultrasound equipment and obtain high-quality diagnostic images.
Prepare, position, and educate patients throughout examinations.
Evaluate images for quality and ensure appropriate anatomy is visualized.
Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
Assist physicians and healthcare professionals with diagnostic procedures.
Follow patient safety, infection-control, and quality-assurance standards.
Maintain equipment and report technical concerns as needed.
Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff.
Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with facility policies and regulations.
Education Requirements
Certification and Licensure Requirements
ARDMS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
Relevant ARDMS specialty certification such as Abdomen or OB/GYN preferred.
Current BLS certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
Current California-required credentials applicable to the position.
Experience Requirements
Previous experience as an Ultrasound Tech, Ultrasound Technologist, or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer preferred.
Strong knowledge of ultrasound equipment, imaging protocols, and patient positioning.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.
