Full time Therapist Enduring Families Program "Dallas"
Recovery Resource Council is looking for compassionate, clinically skilled therapists who are passionate about serving Veterans and their families in the Dallas, Tx area. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, trauma-informed care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a supportive team environment while delivering evidence-based behavioral health services.
Competencies, Knowledge, and Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or related behavioral health field
Active Texas licensure as LPC, LMFT, or LCSW highly preferred
LPC-A, LMFT-A, or LMSW under clinical supervision will be considered with relevant experience
Experience providing individual, couples, and/or family therapy
Experience working with individuals and families impacted by significant trauma
Knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches such as CBT, CPT, EMDR, Seeking Safety, trauma-informed care, and family systems therapy
Knowledge of clinical documentation standards and ethical practice
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations
Experience working with Veterans or familiarity with military culture preferred but not required
Skills / Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and therapeutic communication skills • Ability to manage a clinical caseload independently while collaborating with the team • Proficiency with electronic health records and clinical documentation standards • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and agency policies • Reliable transportation • Evening availability required at least two days per week • Commitment to ongoing professional development and training
Responsibilities:
• Provide individual, couples, family, adolescent, and play therapy services to military Veterans and their family members • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans based on client needs • Provide trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic interventions • Maintain an active clinical caseload of approximately 25 clients • Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation • Participate in clinical consultation and team meetings • Maintain a schedule that includes evening service availability at least two days per week • Uphold agency values, ethical standards, and quality-of-care expectations
