Full Time, Tenure Track, Biology Faculty

Cottey College, a private liberal arts and sciences college for women, invites applications for a full -time, tenure -track position in biology, starting August 202 7. We seek candidates to teach an introductory course in cellular and molecular biology and Anatomy & Physiology . This position supports students majoring in Biology, Biochemistry & Molecular Biology , or Exercise & Sports Science. Cottey is a teaching focused institution with a well-equipped teaching laboratory and facilities. Competitive internal funding opportunities are available for faculty professional development, summer research grants, and students doing work with leadership elements . Research is not required, but encouraged. The successful candidate will have a record of effective teaching and have doctoral degree in biology, or a closely related discipline , in hand by the start of the contract.
