Ski ‘N See is looking for a driven, people-first Store Manager to lead our Sandy Village retail location. As a locally owned and operated company serving the Utah ski and snowboard community since 1987, we’re all about creating memorable experiences on and off the mountain—year-round.

In this leadership role, your #1 priority is people: developing your team to be confident, capable, and customer-focused. You’ll provide hands-on coaching and mentorship to ensure your staff not only meet performance goals but grow professionally and feel invested in their success.

What You’ll Do

On-Season Duties (Peak Winter Season):

• Lead, mentor, and develop a Prostaff team of 20–30 individuals, providing comprehensive coaching on customer service excellence, daily operational efficiency, and advanced sales strategies.
• Motivate your team to achieve daily revenue and performance goals.
• Create and manage schedules to maintain optimal staffing levels within payroll budgets.
• Oversee inventory and maintain premium merchandising and cleanliness standards across our 6,800 sq. ft. space, ensuring every sign and price tag is spot-on.
• Collaborate with other store managers to share insights and align on goals.
• Support our online store operations by managing daily inventory picking.
• Attend monthly manager meetings and weekly check-ins with the Operations Manager.

Off-Season Duties (April – September):

• Work directly in our warehouse performing tuning, maintenance, and repairs on skis and snowboards.
• Drive company vans to safely pick up and deliver inventory and supplies across locations.
• Handle physical loading and unloading of merchandise, gear, and store supplies.
• Process, price, and organize incoming seasonal merchandise and inventory.
• Support operations by floating and working at other Ski 'N See store locations.
• Maintain a flexible schedule, including working weekends as needed, along with executing other operational tasks.

• Average items per cart
• Weekly revenue goals
• Payroll efficiency and staffing balance
• Store and merchandising standards are upheld consistently
• Real-time operational adjustments made using store data
• Smooth transition and execution of off-season warehouse, logistics, and inter-store support tasks

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years of retail, ski/snowboard, or related leadership experience
• Strong communication, organizational, and team leadership skills
• Ability to inspire and drive performance
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for improving operations
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (for driving company vans)
• Ability to lift, load, and unload merchandise and equipment
• Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as business needs dictate

• Salary: $52,000 – $60,000 per year, based on experience
