Ideal candidates have experience with ophthalmic procedures (cataract, retina, cornea, and glaucoma) and perioperative nursing, particularly intraoperative/OR circulating experience.

Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center was established in 1985 by Dr. Michael Duffin in Hemet, California and opened an additional location in Murrieta, California. Since the opening of Inland Eye Specialists Surgery Center patients have been enthusiastic about being able to have their surgery performed outside the hospital! Our patients appreciate the efficiency of the surgery center and the friendly staff. Modern advances in cataract surgery and other ocular procedures have made hospitalization generally unnecessary. The 2,500+ annual surgeries performed at Inland Surgery Center include surgery for cataracts, glaucoma, strabismus, and corneal disease. We also perform cosmetic eyelid surgery.

The OR Circulator RN is responsible for the safety and care of the patients while in the pre-operative and post-operative areas. Accountable for the delivery of individualized nursing care to patients both prior to administration and immediately following the emergence from anesthesia for surgical intervention. Incorporating current clinical knowledge with established nursing practice, performs nursing interventions utilizing the nursing process. By assessment of the individual patient and the scheduled surgical procedure anticipates the needs of the patient and provides for those needs while maintaining a safe and therapeutic environment.
