    A private household in Austin is seeking an experienced nanny to provide structured, high-quality care for one primary child, with occasional coverage support for a toddler. You will be a key member of a coordinated caregiving team, integrating seamlessly into established routines and maintaining continuity across shift transitions.
    This is a high-commitment rotational role suited to an experienced nanny who thrives in structured, extended-care environments.

    SCHEDULE
    3 weeks on / 1 week off Shift length: 6–12+ hours per day during on-weeks Flexibility required — schedule changes may occur with short notice
    Note: We're looking for candidates who have genuinely thrived in similar arrangements, not simply those open to trying.

    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Provide attentive, developmentally appropriate care for the primary child throughout extended shifts
    Maintain consistent daily routines including meals, hygiene, rest, and structured activities
    Step in for toddler care as needed to ensure seamless household coverage
    Plan and lead enrichment activities aligned with each child's developmental stage
    Keep shared spaces safe, clean, and organized at all times
    Collaborate closely with other nannies and household staff for smooth handoffs and continuity
    Adapt to evolving schedules with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset

    Requirements

    Proven long-term nanny experience, ideally in rotational or high-demand household settings
    Demonstrated ability to manage extended shifts (6–12+ hours) with professionalism and composure
    Highly organized and proactive — able to anticipate needs without being prompted
    Discreet, trustworthy, and respectful of household privacy
    Strong communicator who works well within a team-based care structure
    Comfortable living on-site during on-weeks (live-in preferred; local candidates also considered)
