The MRI Technologist Coordinator leads daily MRI department operations, ensuring high-quality diagnostic imaging and regulatory compliance while supporting staff and patients. This leadership role combines clinical expertise with coordination of workflow, scheduling, and quality assurance to deliver exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate daily workflow and scheduling within the MRI department
  
• Perform MRI scans following physician orders and established protocols
  
• Supervise, train, and support MRI technologists and staff
  
• Ensure adherence to safety standards, including MRI safety and infection control
  
• Maintain quality assurance and ensure optimal image quality
  
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and leadership teams
  
• Monitor equipment performance and coordinate maintenance as needed
  
• Manage inventory and ensure adequate supplies are available
  
• Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements
  
• Assist with departmental planning, process improvement, and staff development
  
  Qualifications:
  
  • 
    
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
    
  • ARRT certification in Radiography required
    
  • ARRT (MR) certification required
    
  • Active Kansas state licensure (if applicable)
    
  • BLS certification required
    
    Preferred Skills:
    
    • 
      
    • Minimum of 3+ years of MRI Technologist experience preferred
      
    • Previous leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
