Job Description

We are seeking a Medical Receptionist ( Medical Administrative Coordinator) to become a part of our team! You will perform routine administrative and clinical assignments to keep the medical facility running smoothly. The candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work as a team player and provide personalized service-oriented assistance for our patients while demonstrating strong clerical and front end skills.

Responsibilities:

Greet patients and ensure they feel welcome
Handle all administrative duties in a timely manner.
Perform routine clinical tasks to support medical staff.
Communicate with insurance companies for proper billing procedures.
Escort patients to exam rooms.
Keep the reception and waiting areas clean and neat.
Willing to learn and perform vital signs.

Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent or above
Strong organizational skills
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Personable (for meeting/greeting patients/customers)
Computer literacy (PC)
Phone etiquette - handle heavy volume multi-line
Filing - alphabetically and numerically
Set priorities/follow directions
Adjust to various demands
Operate business equipment i.e. fax, photocopy, calculator, data card. Cashiering activity
Medical terminology Medical office experience is a plus
Able to operate Electronic medical records
