    Description

    Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring a Full Time Human Resources Generalist to support our Human Resources department. This position is responsible for providing practical, consistent and proactive HR support across a variety of functions. The HR Generalist will assist with daily HR operations while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. This role may also support additional administrative or operational tasks as needed.
     
    Responsibilities and Duties:
    • Prepare and maintain new employee files and records
    • Track candidate status in the HRIS and send follow-up communications at the conclusion of the recruiting process
    • Update employees’ direct deposit information, addresses and phone numbers
    • Run and review motor vehicle records (MVR) for candidates and distribute drug testing tickets as required
    • Verify I-9 documentation in compliance with federal regulations
    • Process criminal background checks and drug screenings
    • Complete verification of employment requests
    • Prepare for and attend unemployment hearings
    • Monitor attendance and apply progressive discipline procedures when necessary
    • Provide guidance and support to staff and management regarding company policies and procedures
    • Assist the Human Resources Supervisor and Manager with reports, audits, and special projects
    • Support organizational policy initiatives including Equal Employment Opportunity and harassment prevention programs
    • Investigate potential employee performance issues and assist in resolution, including disciplinary action up to and including termination
     
    Required Skills and Qualifications:
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
    • Demonstrated commitment to internal customer service
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information
     
    Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Administration or related field
