Household Manager & Family Assistant


We are a busy, entrepreneurial family seeking an exceptional Household Manager & Family Assistant to help our home and family operate smoothly and efficiently.


This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys serving others, takes pride in creating order, anticipates needs, and finds satisfaction in helping a family thrive. Our goal is to spend more time focused on our family, children, business, and priorities while entrusting day-to-day household logistics to a highly capable professional.


Primary Responsibilities


Household Operations
  • Maintain organization and order throughout the home
  • Manage laundry, folding, steaming, and putting clothing away
  • Kitchen resets and daily dish management
  • Light housekeeping and tidying between professional cleanings
  • Organize closets, pantries, storage areas, and family spaces
  • Monitor household supplies and inventory
Family Support
  • Prepare school lunches and snacks
  • Meal planning and family meal preparation
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Coordinate family schedules and appointments
  • Assist with travel preparation and unpacking
  • Prepare the home for family arrivals and restore it after departures
Property & Vendor Coordination
  • Coordinate cleaners, landscapers, contractors, and service providers
  • Schedule maintenance and service appointments
  • Monitor household projects and follow through on details
  • Manage deliveries, returns, and household purchases
Personal Assistant Duties
  • Run errands and manage household calendars and reminders
  • Assist with event preparation and family activities
  • Help coordinate special occasions
  • Anticipate needs and proactively solve problems
The Ideal Candidate
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Positive, service-minded, and dependable
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision
  • Excellent communicator with strong problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working around children and in a busy family environment
  • Able to identify what needs to be done without being asked
  • Enjoys creating calm, order, and efficiency
Qualifications
  • Previous experience as a Household Manager, Family Assistant, Personal Assistant, Executive Housekeeper, Estate Manager, or similar role
  • Clean driving record and reliable transportation
  • Strong professional references
  • Ability to pass a background screening
Schedule:  Full-time preferred. Generally Monday through Friday, with some flexibility based on family needs.


Compensation: Competitive salary based on experience, qualifications, and demonstrated ability to provide exceptional household support.
