About Our Families
This is a unique and meaningful opportunity to support two close-knit neighboring families who share deep personal bonds and are looking for one exceptional person to become part of both of their households.
The first family is a busy, active household with two school-age children and a warm, welcoming energy. The household runs on a divide-and-conquer rhythm — one parent is deeply involved in school life and community activities, while the other keeps demanding professional hours outside the home. Days are full and fragmented, filled with school commitments, volunteer work, and evening activities that run late. There is a lot of love in this home, but the daily to-do list has become a weight. They are ready to hand that weight to someone else.
The second family, neighbors just across the street, is navigating an incredibly difficult season with courage, grace, and remarkable positivity. Mom is currently undergoing treatment for a serious illness and has put enormous energy into maintaining normalcy for her three children, staying active, and controlling what she can. The family's priority right now is health, connection, and keeping life moving forward — not laundry piles. They need someone to step in with positivity and energy to handle the daily details so the family can focus on what matters most.
Both households run back and forth between each other naturally — this isn't a formal arrangement, it's a community. The right person will feel that and lean into it.
Each home has beloved dogs, and comfort around pets is a must. One family's dog has a shy personality but occasionally needs to be crated during visits. The other family has a young, energetic pup still in the puppy stage and a senior dog.
Both families already have a wonderful long-term housekeeper who handles deep cleaning and will continue to do so. This role is about everything else — the daily flow, the anticipation, the organization, and the love.
Who You Are / What We're Looking For
You are warm, confident, and deeply capable. You walk into a home, read the room, and get to work — not because someone asked you to, but because you already saw what needed to happen. You don't need a task list handed to you each morning. You notice the drawer that hasn't been organized in months, the pantry that's running low, the laundry that needs to be hung to dry, and the backpack that needs to be packed for tomorrow. You take care of it.
You bring genuine warmth and the ability to connect with families on a human level — not as a vendor, but as someone who cares. You are the kind of person who can hold space for a difficult season without making it heavier. You communicate with a positive, solutions-oriented attitude and bring steady, grounded energy into a home.
You have real life experience behind you and the emotional intelligence to match. You're flexible, proactive without being presumptuous, and confident enough to reorganize a kitchen drawer without asking for permission.
Most of all, you are someone who takes pride in making a meaningful impact for families they work with. If this sounds like you, we'd love for you to apply.
