About Us
Dependable Health Services is expanding hospice services into the Phoenix market and is seeking a compassionate, experienced Clinical Manager to help lead the launch and growth of our new hospice agency. This is an opportunity to build a strong clinical culture, lead an interdisciplinary team, and make a meaningful impact on patients and families during life’s most important moments.
Position Summary
The Clinical Manager is responsible for overseeing all clinical operations of the hospice agency, ensuring quality patient care, regulatory compliance, staff leadership, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with hospice experience who thrives in a startup/growth environment.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day hospice clinical operations
Ensure compliance with Medicare, state, and accreditation regulations
Supervise and support nursing and interdisciplinary staff
Coordinate patient care services and case management
Participate in hiring, onboarding, training, and performance management
Maintain quality assurance and infection control programs
Collaborate with executive leadership on census growth and operational goals
Participate in on-call rotation as needed
Foster a compassionate, patient-centered culture
Qualifications
Current Arizona RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years hospice leadership experience preferred
Prior experience as Clinical Manager, DON, or equivalent strongly preferred
Knowledge of Medicare hospice regulations and compliance standards
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and help build a growing program
CPR certification required
