Full-Time Health Aide

The Whitewater Unified School District is looking for a full-time health aide to work 7.5 hours per day from 7:30am to 3:30pm Monday through Friday at Washington Elementary School. The school health aide provides services to children in the educational system under the supervision of the district school nurse. The health aide performs a number of duties including health-related services, clerical duties, documentation and maintenance of facilities, and facilitating activities to improve and promote optimal student health. The health aide monitors illness conditions, provides first aid, administers medications, reviews immunization compliance, and maintains student health records, and will perform other duties as assigned.

Washington Elementary School serves approximately 300 4K-5th grade students. Whitewater is located in southern Wisconsin, approximately 45 miles west of Milwaukee, 45 miles east of Madison, and 100 miles northwest of Chicago.
