Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers to work with a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier. The Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This Full-time Entry-Level Assemblers position is based out of Livonia, MI. and offers an AM day shift and possible overtime. Shift Schedule:
- AM day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday, plus overtime when needed)
Responsibilities:
- Assist a senior Assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
- Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility
- Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions
- Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow established safety procedures.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 – 3+ years of experience required
- Proficient with computer usage
- Ability to learn and follow written instructions
- Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
- Knowledge of tools and their use
- Ability to focus on details and quality of work
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School automotive shop class(es)
- Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends
