    Diamond Rehab is seeking a full-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team at Westwood Manor in DeRidder, Louisiana.     Key Responsibilities

    • Assist in Therapy Sessions:Work under the supervision of a Registered Occupational Therapist (OTR) to implement treatment plans and assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities aimed at improving physical, emotional, and developmental well-being.

    • Patient Assessment:Assist with gathering patient information, documenting progress, and reporting any changes in patient condition to the supervising OTR.

    • Treatment Plan Development:Collaborate with the OTR to develop and modify individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.

    • Patient & Family Education:Instruct patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and activities to be performed at home to support recovery and independence.

    • Documentation & Compliance:Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations and facility standards.

    Qualifications

    • Education:Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

    • Certification:NBCOT certification required

    • Licensure:Must be licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
