We are seeking highly motivated and qualified full-time Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our nursing department on the 7:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. shift.
Pay: $22.00 – $25.50 per hour base, based on experience, plus shift differentials of $2.50 per hour for weekday evenings and nights and weekend days, and $3.00 per hour for weekend evenings and nights.
Sign-on bonus: $1,500 for full-time hires, paid under a written sign-on bonus agreement.
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your essential job responsibilities include:
• Provide care to residents as directed and as outlined in the plan of care.
• Assist residents with activities of daily living and/or provide all necessary care for residents who are dependent.
• Use nursing assistant techniques that promote as much individual independence as possible, including walking, transfer assistance, range of motion, eating, bathing, dressing and bed mobility.
• Apply knowledge of infection control and fire and disaster policies as needed.
• Participate in continuing education and meet the requirements for annual in-service participation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
• Current certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant in Massachusetts.
• Ability to read, write and understand English; other languages are helpful.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
• Weekend rotation is required for all direct care staff.
