Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide courteous, efficient service at the register
- Process sales transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
- Handle cash, credit, debit, and other payment types with care and accuracy
- Assist customers with questions, product location, and general store information
- Balance cash drawer and complete register-related reports as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area
- Resolve basic customer concerns professionally and escalate issues when needed
- Support team members and help with additional store duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Previous cashier, retail, or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle transactions accurately and efficiently
- Basic math skills and attention to detail
- Ability to remain professional and composed in a busy environment
