Join Our Team as a Professional Security Officer!
We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Security Officer to provide a safe and secure environment at a professional client location. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong security experience who take pride in delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.
Pay Rate
- $20.50 per hour
Schedule - Overtime built into schedule
- Monday – Thursday: 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM
- Friday: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 8:30 AM - 2:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Maintain a professional and highly visible security presence.
- Monitor the premises and report security or safety concerns promptly.
- Control access to the property and assist visitors, employees, and vendors.
- Conduct routine patrols and remain alert for suspicious activity.
- Respond appropriately to incidents and emergencies following established procedures.
- Complete detailed incident reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while enforcing site policies and procedures.
- Remain standing for the duration of the assigned shift.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of prior security experience.
- Active New York State Security Guard License.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional appearance and demeanor.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to stand for the duration of the assigned shift.
- Ability to work the required schedule, including Saturdays.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior law enforcement experience.
- Experience working in a professional office, corporate, or customer-facing environment.
- Strong conflict resolution and de-escalation skills.
