Assistive Technology CoordinatorLocation: One VisionSchedule: Full-Time | Primarily In-OfficeClassification: Non-ExemptUse Technology to Create Greater IndependenceTechnology can do more than make life easier-it can create opportunities for greater independence, communication, safety, and connection.At One Vision, we're looking for an Assistive Technology Coordinator who is excited about finding practical, innovative technology solutions that help people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live more independently.In this role, you'll combine technology, problem-solving, collaboration, and person-centered support to identify individual needs and turn them into solutions that make a meaningful difference. From smart home technology and communication supports to sensors, voice assistants, wireless devices, and other assistive tools, you'll help expand how technology is used across One Vision services.What You'll DoAs our Assistive Technology Coordinator, you'll help take technology solutions from idea to implementation. You'll:Conduct assistive technology assessments to understand each person's needs, preferences, abilities, and goalsPartner with individuals served, families, employees, caregivers, therapists, and other team members to identify meaningful technology solutionsSupport the ISP process by identifying assistive technology needs, goals, and implementation considerationsResearch emerging assistive technology, smart living tools, and industry best practicesRecommend and customize devices, systems, and software based on individual needsCoordinate technology trials, demonstrations, purchasing, installation, and implementationWork with vendors and internal teams to keep technology projects moving forwardTrain individuals served, families, employees, and support teams to confidently use and care for technologyProvide ongoing troubleshooting and technical support, including on-call support as neededMonitor how technology is working and recommend adjustments or improvementsMaintain accurate documentation of assessments, recommendations, implementation, training, and follow-upHelp identify new opportunities to expand assistive and enabling technology throughout One VisionWhat Makes You a Great FitYou'll thrive in this role if you're someone who enjoys figuring out how things work, solving problems, and using technology to improve people's everyday lives.We're looking for someone who brings:A bachelor's degree in a human services-related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experienceAt least three years of progressively responsible experience supporting individuals with disabilities, including experience collaborating with stakeholders on assistive technology optionsKnowledge of assistive technology and smart home systems such as Wi-Fi networks, Bluetooth devices, sensors, voice assistants, energy management systems, and wireless switchesStrong communication skills and the ability to make technical information understandable and approachableStrong organization, project management, and time-management skillsThe ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlinesConfidence working independently while collaborating across teamsStrong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skillsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointA valid driver's license and driving record that meets One Vision's requirementsBonus points if you have:Supervisory experienceRESNA ATP or ATACP certificationExperience implementing smart home or assistive technology solutions in disability servicesWhy This Role MattersThe right technology can help someone communicate more effectively, complete everyday tasks more independently, feel safer in their home, or gain greater control over their daily life.As our Assistive Technology Coordinator, you'll help One Vision continue finding new and better ways to support the people we serve. Remote work arrangements are based on business needs and performance and are subject to ongoing review.Because you'll occasionally assist with technology installation and troubleshooting, you should also be comfortable moving and positioning equipment weighing up to 50 pounds and working in a variety of service environments.Bring Your Curiosity.
