Performance Driven Workforce (PDW) is now hiring Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians for an automotive Tier 1 supplier. The Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians role will assist and learn from a senior assembler. The Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians will perform basic manufacturing and cleaning work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Candidates must have tire experience. This Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians position is based out of Dearborn, MI., and offers an AM day shift! Candidates meeting the requirements for this Full-time Assembler / Tire Lab Technicians position are strongly encouraged to apply.
Shift Schedule:
- AM day shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Monday – Friday, OT when needed)
Responsibilities: - Assist a senior Assembler with assembling products and sub-components to support vehicle production and other products
- Support vehicle and material movement in and around facility
- Follow electronic build book for assembly instructions
- Clean and prepare components and vehicles for production
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Follow established safety procedures
Requirements: - High School diploma or equivalent
- 6+ months’ experience required
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must have Tire experience
- Proficient with computer usage
- Ability to learn and follow written instructions
- Ability to perform fine hand manipulation
- Knowledge of tools and their use
- Ability to focus on details and quality of work
Preferred Requirements: - High School automotive shop class(es)
- Experience performing personal vehicle maintenance
- Ability to work overtime as needed, including weekends
