We are seeking a patient, dependable full-time caregiver to provide one-to-one support for our young adult with autism, who communicates without speech, 40 hours a week in the Frisco area. You will help with daily routines and personal care, follow our established routines and behavior strategies, and give support at school and in the community. Experience with autism or developmental disabilities is essential. A nursing license is not required; driving is helpful but not required. A background check is part of hiring.
Required: autism / special-needs care; behavior support / de-escalation; personal care (ADLs, toileting).
Preferred: nonverbal / AAC communication; school support / transitions; daily notes / documentation; drives / own transportation.
Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours a week.
