Full-Stack Software Engineer

Introduction

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and products to meet customer needs. The candidate will be engaged in the entire software development lifecycle, including designing software architecture, writing code, testing for quality, and deploying software solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proficiency in NoSQL, Kubernetes, KAFKA, GCP, Cloud Architecture, Data Architecture, Big Data, Cloud Infrastructure, Apache Spark, Big Query, Apache Hadoop, Java, Docker, and Python.
• 5 years of progressive experience in data engineering or a related role, with a significant focus on large-scale data systems.
• Expert proficiency in programming languages such as Python or Scala.
• Advanced SQL skills for complex querying, data manipulation, and database design.
• Extensive experience with big data technologies (e.g., Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Flink).
• Proven experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their data services.
• Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead discussions and present technical information clearly.
• Prior work experience at the client or in the client's industry.

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with GitHub.
• Knowledge of Machine Learning.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to understand their use-cases, pain points, and requirements, advocating for user-centric software solutions.
• Solve complex problems by designing, developing, and delivering software using various tools, languages, frameworks, and technologies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as product owners, designers, and architects.
• Define and implement software test strategy, guidelines, and processes.
• Continuously improve performance and optimize the application, implementing new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
• Create user-friendly and interactive interfaces.
• Develop and maintain back-end applications like APIs and microservices using server-side languages.
• Evaluate and incorporate emerging technologies to deliver solutions.
