Description

Job Role: Full Stack Software Engineer
Location: Onsite in Brookfield, WI, at least 3 days a week.
Duration: 3-month contract
Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development, and maintenance of best-in-class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization while leveraging AI-assisted development tools to accelerate delivery. The candidate takes responsibility for the software artifacts produced, adhering to standards for security, observability, and performance.
Essential Responsibilities
Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications, including React-based UI, Java/Spring Boot APIs, Python microservices, and backend services
Build and enhance scalable, secure microservices aligned with enterprise architecture and performance standards, leveraging Spring Boot, FastAPI, and modern architectural patterns
Develop and integrate AI-powered agent workflows using LangGraph and LangChain for intelligent claim processing and decision automation
Collaborate in Agile teams to deliver high-quality code, participate in design reviews, and continuously improve engineering practices
Implement and support CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automation using Docker, ensuring reliable and efficient deployments
Lead modernization initiatives, migrating legacy systems to cloud-native, microservices-based architectures
Use AI-assisted development tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude, etc.) to accelerate coding, debugging, and knowledge sharing across the team
Preferred Skills/Experience
Strong hands-on experience with React.js 19 , TypeScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks
Proven expertise in Java 21, Spring Boot framework, and building RESTful APIs and microservices
Experience developing Python applications using FastAPI and async patterns
Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including DDL/DML, performance tuning
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and integration of LLM-based workflows into applications
Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
Proficiency with DevOps / CI-CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Kubernetes, Rancher)
