We are seeking an experienced Full-Stack PHP Developer to design, develop, maintain, and enhance web-based applications and technology solutions within a growing telecommunications and cloud communications organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both frontend and backend development, with the ability to build responsive user interfaces, develop scalable PHP applications, manage databases, and integrate third-party platforms through APIs.
This position requires a hands-on developer who can take ownership of projects from concept through deployment, troubleshoot complex technical issues, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop solutions that improve operational efficiency and the customer experience.
Experience with telecommunications, VoIP, UCaaS, SaaS platforms, or customer-facing portals is highly desirable.
Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain full-stack web applications.
Build backend application functionality using PHP and established development frameworks.
Develop responsive, intuitive, and user-friendly frontend interfaces.
Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional applications.
Maintain and enhance existing software while contributing to new development initiatives.
Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Troubleshoot application errors, performance bottlenecks, and software defects.
Develop and maintain responsive interfaces using HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
Work with modern JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as Vue.js or React, when applicable.
Integrate frontend applications with backend services and APIs.
Improve application usability, performance, and compatibility across browsers and devices.
Implement accessible, consistent user interfaces.
Develop and maintain server-side applications using PHP.
Build and consume RESTful APIs to connect internal and external systems.
Integrate applications with CRM, billing, customer management, and telecommunications platforms.
Implement authentication, authorization, input validation, and secure data handling.
Develop automated processes that reduce repetitive tasks and improve operational workflows.
Troubleshoot API connectivity, data synchronization, and application integration issues.
Design, maintain, and optimize relational databases.
Write efficient SQL queries and manage database interactions.
Work with technologies such as MySQL, MariaDB, or PostgreSQL.
Ensure application data integrity, security, and performance.
Identify opportunities to improve database efficiency and scalability.
Use Git and established development practices for version control.
Support application deployments, testing, debugging, and software updates.
Collaborate with technical support, engineering, operations, and leadership teams.
Maintain technical documentation and communicate project progress.
Identify opportunities to improve application architecture, performance, and reliability.
3 5+ years of professional full-stack web development experience, including substantial hands-on PHP development.
Strong proficiency in PHP and object-oriented programming.
Experience developing both frontend and backend application functionality.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
Experience with a PHP framework such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
Experience with Git and collaborative software development.
Familiarity with Linux-based web hosting environments.
Understanding of web security, authentication, and secure application development.
Experience debugging applications across frontend, backend, and database layers.
Ability to independently manage development tasks and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Experience with Laravel and modern PHP development practices.
Experience using React, Vue.js, or comparable JavaScript frameworks.
Experience with SaaS applications, customer-facing dashboards, or web portals.
Experience integrating third-party APIs, webhooks, OAuth, and external services.
Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD pipelines, AWS, or Azure.
Familiarity with Nginx, Apache, or similar web server technologies.
Experience with automated testing and application performance optimization.
Experience modernizing existing PHP applications.
Knowledge of VoIP, SIP, PBX, or UCaaS environments.
Experience with telecommunications APIs, customer provisioning systems, billing platforms, or workflow automation.
Telecommunications experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with strong full-stack application development experience in other industries will also be considered.
